Hey hey heyyyy dear friends of mine! Told you I’d come back and tell you about this cute little town near Malaga, named Ronda… so here I am! In my previous blog post, while I was sharing you my 1st Spanish experience, had also mentioned that on day 2, husband and I went on a day-trip until Ronda. Have to tell that it was ohhhh so very super nice and pretty! YUP! But let me tell you more.
Malaga – the capital of “Costa del Sol”
Hey hey hey! Today is going to be about Malaga, Spain. Been there in February and I am writing this blog post in April… hmmm I think my entire being is working with a delay these days, sorry about that. Anyway, it was my very 1st meeting with Spain and I have to admit that I fell madly in love with this country! People are so nice and welcoming, the weather is fabulous and the architecture is beautiful. Oh and I also have to add on the list their “Malaga Dulce” wine… which is now my favorite one!
Bologna – la grassa, la rossa, la dotta
Hello hello! I am back! Today is all about Bologna, Italy. To be honest, I got to visit this city only because flight tickets were super cheap. And by cheap, I mean 35 Euros round-trip tickets for both, husband and I, with Wizzair. So it all makes sense now when I am telling you that I just couldn’t help myself, right? Heheee.
Constanta – gateway to Romanian Black Sea
Hey you guys! Today I am going to present you the city of Constanta which is historically known as Tomis. Also, this is the oldest continuously inhabited city in Romania. It was founded around 600 BC. The city is located in the Dobrogea region, on the Black Sea coast. So hey! Romania is not all about the beautiful mountains, we also have our precious Black Sea.
Budapest – always a nice place to return
Hey hey heyyy! “Back in town”. Literally… back in Budapest. For the second time! I am not that kind of traveler who always wants to explore new places and doesn’t return in a place already visited before. If a place it’s nice, I will definitely and gladly return! For example, Budapest… Actually it was more fun now that I already knew the city and didn’t waste any time on finding the places I wanted to see. But let me tell you more!
Brasov – the perfect medieval city
Hello travelers! Good to be here again! Today I want to tell you about Brasov which is a city located in the central part of Romania, about 166 kilometers north of Bucharest. It is surrounded by the Southern Carpathians and is part of the Transylvania region. This is one of my favorite cities in our country and every now and then I like to escape the hustle and bustle of Bucharest and visit it!
Strasbourg – mon amour
Strasbourg Strasbourg… Ohhh la la… what a city! Didn’t know what to expect from it but I was truly mesmerized. So glad we visited it and if you ever get the chance to be somewhere in Alsace, France… do not miss it! Our main trip was in Colmar, however, being so close to Strasbourg, we included it as well in our itinerary. Such a great choice!
Colmar – a fairytale french town
Hello dear travelers! I just came back from a wonderful trip around Alsace region in France. More exactly, we’ve visited Colmar and Strasbourg! Can’t wait to tell you more…
Culturally between France and Germany, Alsace has only been part of the French territory since World War II. It obviously retains a strong German heritage, from the local dialect to the traditional meals and iconic architecture.
Colmar is the most charming little fairytale town I’ve ever seen. Why? Well, first of all, it looks like it’s taken straight out of “Beauty and the Beast”. For real!
Chalkida – the city of mad waters
Hello hello! I’m back! Today I want to tell you about Chalkida which is a beautiful city by the sea near Athens, Greece. It is also called the “city of mad waters” so tag along and I’ll explain you why!
After we visited Athens for 3 days back in September, we were heading to Chalkida to spend one more relaxing week at the beach.
First of all, I am pretty sure you’ve never heard of this city until now because it really isn’t such a touristic place. You won’t even find a single magnet to buy as a souvenir, I can guarantee that :)) Also, the menus at the restaurants are mostly written in Greek. But that’s ok, because this way you get to feel the true authenticity of Greece.
Athens – my kind of a city
Hi guys! We just came back from a 10 days trip to Greece YAAAY. We’ve spent 3 days in Athens and 7 more days in Chalkida. However, this blog post is solely about Athens and I have to warn you… lots of pictures will be shown in here.
Ok, so… what about Athens? Oh well, for me, Athens is just perfect. I really mean it. It’s our 5th time visiting the city. A little bit awkward right? Why visiting this city so many times? Because we love everything about it! It’s a city we could visit again and again. In fact, we could even see ourselves living here. We like it that much!
